This year, a total of 22 companies entered the competition from 25 May to 31 July 2021. With more than 4,500 mystery inquiries distributed across the contact channels phone, email, internet navigation, chat and social media, the participants' customer service performance was audited.

We owe our success to the strong focus on customer service and a series of process optimisations to increase customer and staff satisfaction. The independent organization "Voted Customer Service of the Year" checked the pre-sales, sales and after-sales customer service of iRobot Germany and provided the German customer call center, the e-mail, and social media channels by iRobot to the test. iRobot works tirelessly to support our customers in Germany and this award, which we have received for the second year in a row, is the perfect example of this important commitment.
We are very pleased about this independent industry award which we see as an appreciation of our service staff who are on duty day and night. Our primary goal is customer satisfaction. For us, this means always achieving the fastest possible and individually optimal solution for consumers.
Service quality is the key to our customers' hearts. The customer is king and is at the centre of all our activities. We are very pleased about the extraordinarily high level of customer satisfaction, which confirms that we have been voted "Customer Service of the Year, Germany" for the second time in a row. The final of the customer service competition „Gewählt zum Kundenservice des Jahres 2021“ took place in an online award ceremony. The winners of the first German edition were revealed to all viewers.
